Meet Molly
I am Molly Duran, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), with over ten years of experience. It is my priority to build a strong collaborative therapeutic relationship while creating a warm, inviting, and safe space where you can feel comfortable and supported. I am strength-based and utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I feel the best approach is one specifically designed to each client’s unique circumstances and would be honored to be a part of your journey towards healing, growth, and transformation. I am licensed in both Illinois and California.
Credentials
I earned my Masters of Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and Type 73 School social work certificate at Loyola University Chicago.
I have a background working with diverse clientele in a variety of settings which includes being a victim-advocate in Chicago Cook County courts where I assisted victims of felony crimes navigate the criminal justice system. I has also worked in community mental health as a Wraparound Facilitator in the Los Angeles area providing in-home social work and crisis intervention services to children, teens, and their families. Additionally, I have experience working as a school social worker providing individual and group therapy.
I also served as Director for an outpatient mental health agency adjacent to University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign campus providing both individual and group intensive therapy (IOP) for eating and mood disorders.

Completed specialized training (BTTI) for OCD through the International OCD foundation (IOCDF)
Received training & certificate for comprehensive behavioral intervention for tics/Tourette’s (CBIT) through the Tourette Syndrome Behavior Therapy Institute (TS-BTI)
Trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) and Failure to Launch (FTL) by creator Eli Lebowitz Yale Child Study Center
Trained in Written Exposure Therapy (WET) for PTSD

SPACE-(Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) parent-based approach that helps parents respond to their child’s anxiety/ OCD in ways that are supportive, compassionate, and empowering.
Tics & Tourette’s – Support for controlling tics and coping with symptoms.

Every session is a safe, judgment-free space where you can learn practical skills and feel supported on your journey to calm and confidence.
